We are the best DJ to make your event an amazing and enjoyable time!

There is no place that we are not willing to travel for your enjoyment. We offer very affordable rates for weddings, parties, reunions, proms, and corporate events. All weddings are a package deal, plus a possible mileage charge depending on the location. We don’t charge by the hour as you will find in most companies do, meaning you get UNLIMITED HOURS for your wedding. We strive to make sure that you and your guests have the night of your lives. All other events are by the hour, but don’t worry, you still get the same great service!
We also have a myriad of extra upgrades, such as up-lighting, projector for slide shows, string lights, monogram, fog machines, and karaoke, to add an extra touch to your events. Please contact us for rates and to see if we are available to make your event amazing!
Matthew is a biology graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Apart from being a DJ, he currently he holds a full-time job at Laboratory Corporation of America as a Microbiology Technologist.
He has always been interested in music- from Middle School, where he started playing an instrument, to 2008 when, while doing sound at his church, he started Drake’s DJ Services, and up until today, where he still enjoys bringing life to any party. It all started with a fellow church-goer asking him to do their wedding. It went off without a hitch, and he found that he really enjoyed the aspect of getting people on the dance floor and helping clients have the time of their lives. Shortly after his first wedding, he was asked to do another. At that point he realized that he would enjoy starting a business from this.
He began by using the church’s portable audio system, but quickly realized that he needed to purchase his own equipment. He started out with a small sound board, 2 speakers, a microphone with stand, a 1600-watt amplifier, and all the cords needed to make that work.
As his new business, Drake’s DJ Services, began to grow, he knew he had to grow as well. As of today, he owns two different setups, one for parties and receptions, and a portable system for outdoor ceremonies. He also has a Bluetooth battery-powered speaker for those ceremonies where there is little to no power hookups. On top of the music equipment, he also offers a myriad of extras for his clients to add to the event: things like up-lighting, monograms, projector, fog machines, string lights, and a karaoke machine.
Matthew has a great ear for sound and has the charismatic personality needed for a proper DJ/Master of Ceremonies. By booking with him, you are sure to have a great time and an event to remember!
