I was overwhelmed by the quantity and pricing of DJ search results out there, not to mention having to kind of "fly blind" since I wasn't really sure what kinds of services I needed. Matthew impressed me from our first meeting, arriving early with notepad in hand to discuss the types of songs I had in mind and corresponding regularly via email as we made tweaks to the schedule. He was really positive and made me feel comfortable asking questions about the ceremony and reception. Perhaps most impressive, he helped my dad coordinate a flash mob at the end of our father-daughter dance, truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Drake's DJ services and Matthew were an absolute delight to work with. Matt met us face to face months prior to our wedding and took a personal interest in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We were very picky as well. We had a few special requests, involving editing and mixing music so that certain parts of the song would play during specific parts of the ceremony and Matthew was able to make that happen seamlessly.
In addition to providing music we also asked that Matthew emcee our wedding for us. We gave him a loose script of what we wanted and he took off from there. He was good at getting the crowd to follow with what we wanted and was very effective at moving the ceremony along.
Drake's DJ Services were very affordable as well and once we met Matthew we were immediately sold.
We would HIGHLY recommend Drake's DJ Services for any event that you would like a professional, prompt, and very enjoyable music experience (and more!).

Don't want to be a cliché, but Matt was awesome. For a DIY bride Matt had become more than a DJ. He was my ceremony host, light man and at some points my day of coordinator. Not only were the services great, his fee was reasonable. I would love to work with Matt again, particularly since I am going into event planning.

Matt was the DJ for my daughters wedding in May. He did an awesome job! He was very professional and so nice through the entire planning process. My daughter and her fiance chose very different styles of music for the ceremony and reception and Matt nailed them all. Also, my 80 year old mother fell in love with him. Matthew was the perfect mix of professional and easy going, which made working with him a dream. He helped us through the transitions of the wedding when we weren't sure of the norm. I also made Spotify playlists and he worked everything in seamlessly. We couldn't have been happier with our choice.

Matt did a wonderful job with the music for our wedding! I was a bit of a control freak, so I ended up making Spotify playlists of music for each part of the wedding and reception, and he was happy to play music from those lists. He was easy to talk to when we met with him and did a great job of announcing transitions during our reception. When I realized during my reception my father-daughter dance was going to be awkwardly long, he found a good point in the song to fade it out. Everything went very smoothly and he was a big part of that!

Working with Matthew and Drake's DJ Service was a great experience for my wife and me. Matthew was professional and responsive throughout the whole process. He listened to all of our requests and really took the time to put together a solid music list for our reception. He had people dancing all night.
